Bengaluru: Conrad Hotels & Resorts has redefined the landscape of experiential dining in Bengaluru, launching the second edition of its celebrated ‘The Art of Experiential Dining‘ series. Following its remarkable debut in Pune, the luxurious Conrad Bengaluru recently hosted this innovative dining event, beautifully curated to blend historical authenticity with contemporary flair.

Elevating the essence of experiential dining in Bengaluru, the event was spearheaded by India’s renowned food historian, Anoothi Vishal, along with the talented culinary vision of Executive Chef Mohammed Eliyaz. Together, they crafted an immersive culinary narrative inspired by the grandeur of 19th-century royal banquets. Each dish was not just a meal but an exploration, evoking vivid tales from India’s regal past.

Guests indulged in exquisite creations such as Chowk Ki Tikiya, Bhuney Parsinde, Safed Qorma Rezala, and the delightful Shahi Tukda Double Ka Meetha. Each course was carefully paired with compelling narratives that traced culinary evolution across Indian royal courts—from the opulence of Mughal Delhi and Nawabi Lucknow to the refined tastes of French-influenced courts and the diverse culinary fabric of historic Calcutta. This thoughtfully crafted menu deepened the sense of connection, highlighting the artful storytelling at the heart of experiential dining in Bengaluru.

Candice D’Cruz, Vice President of Luxury Brands at Hilton Asia Pacific, noted how the overwhelming success of the debut at Conrad Pune fueled their enthusiasm for this Bengaluru edition. “Dining at Conrad Hotels & Resorts is designed as a gateway to discovery,” she emphasized, underscoring how this innovative event perfectly aligns with Bengaluru’s vibrant culinary scene, famed for its dynamic heritage and creativity.

The experiential dining in Bengaluru went beyond just gastronomy, extending into thoughtfully designed cultural experiences. Guests participated in curated activities including an immersive honey-tasting session guided by Apoorva BV, famously known as the ‘Bee Man of India,’ a heritage walk through the historic lanes of Malleshwaram, a pottery workshop, and even a masterclass in traditional sambar masala preparation. Each activity enriched guests’ understanding and appreciation of Bengaluru’s distinctive cultural tapestry.

Digvijay Singh, General Manager of Conrad Bengaluru, expressed his pride in hosting such a culturally significant event, “Our goal is to celebrate Bengaluru’s diverse culinary heritage while creating a modern narrative through each bite,” Singh shared, reinforcing Conrad’s dedication to making experiential dining in Bengaluru memorable and meaningful. Select signature dishes such as Chowk Ki Tikiya and Shahi Tukda will be available for diners at Conrad’s acclaimed restaurant, Indian Durbar, extending this experience for those who missed the inaugural event.
