Bengaluru: Dhaba Estd 1986 has launched, a PAN India brand upgrade, with new dishes on the menu, nostalgic new interiors, as well as a return of some classic recipes. Born in 1986 on Aurangzeb Road in New Delhi, Dhaba was the first ever highway-themed restaurant serving hearty Punjabi food. Having evolved in the decades since Dhaba has become an iconic Classic and a favorite of its countless patrons.

Speaking of the launch and the inspiration behind Dhaba 2.0, Co-founder Rahul Khanna said to The Balcony Stories, “The aim behind the revamped Dhaba is not only to celebrate the Punjabi culture or highway cuisine but also to find inspiration from all small North Indian towns and villages”. “We have tried to weave the culture, interiors, and habits into version 2.0,” added Kabir Suri.

Dhaba gets a refreshing makeover in its version 2.0 while retaining that Hearty Punjabi vibe. New dishes like Palak Patta Ki Chaat, Tandoori Malai Broccoli, Mutton Barra Kebab, Hariyali Subz Kofta, Dilli Ki Nihari, Chitta Butter Chicken, Doodhia Leechi, and the like, in addition to contemporary desi concoctions like Gud Nal Ishq Mitha, Guldasta, Shaam Ka Jaam, etc are the innovative additions to the menu and complement quirky new interiors while retaining the essence of Dhaba to its loyal patrons. Dhaba 2.0, which is the mother of all remixes – is intended to be launched across the Country at all outlets.
