The Little Kingdom was founded by 2 young moms – Nikhita Puri & Vaidehi Kothanth. After completing her Masters at Warwick Business school, Vaidehi moved to Bangalore in 2005 and worked with Amber Research, a financial research company for 2 years . Soon after that, Vaidehi launched Mulberry Home Decor, a bespoke lifestyle store in 2009. Alongside mulberry she consulted as a networking advisor with a fine Jewellery brand, Shobha Asar for their operations in Bangalore. In 2019, along with her friend and partner Nikhita Puri, she launched the Little Kingdom , a one stop destination for kids merchandise.
Born and brought up in Bombay, Nikhita interned at Vogue after finishing her BMS degree from HR college. Following which she started working with Akanksha – a non profit organisation for the underprivileged children. Always being extremely fond of kids she spent 4 years teaching there until she moved to Bangalore in 2014. She worked for her family business called Rosara Home where she handled the design and production of product shoots. Seeing the huge gap in kids merchandise in Bangalore, she launched the Little Kingdom with Vaidehi in 2019
