EditorBengaluru: India’s first all-day queer festival by a hospitality chain, Satrangi Mela, is all set to launch its fourth Bangalore edition this December. The question is – will SOCIAL raise the bar for exceptional & educational collaborations for the queer community, yet again?
12-7 PM is the “Mela” with queer-owned businesses/artists putting up. 8PM onwards is an Artist Showcase – we bring to you 3 well-known queer artists as headliner acts+ 10 smaller acts. This Artist Showcase will then devolve into an afterparty.
Dedicated to promote queer talent and queer-owned businesses, Satrangi Mela is nothing less than a celebration – of queer folks, for queer folks, and by queer folks.
Their inclusion-oriented approach shifts the spotlight from a tokenistic rainbow flag to the more pressing and under-represented aspects of the queer experiences, evidenced by their LGBTQ-exclusive floor in Bangalore.

SOCIAL is a path-breaking urban hangout that’s designed to take you offline while still keeping you connected. From an all-day café serving great food, coffee, and cocktails, SOCIAL transforms from this creatively charged, collaborative space into a high-energy bar when work hours end, striking the perfect balance between work x play.
